Cancellation policy
We understand there may be times when a swimming lesson needs to be cancelled due to illness or inclement weather.
Temperature Consideration: The temperature of both the water and the air plays a crucial role in creating a comfortable and safe teaching environment. We always prioritise the safety and well-being of our students when deciding whether to cancel or shoot a lesson.
Teaching in the Rain: Rain itself is not typically a concern, especially during the warmer months of mid-summer, since swimming involves getting wet. Lessons can often continue in the rain if the temperature remains suitable for the swimmer.
At the end of the day, it is your prerogative to cancel a lesson for any reason; however, to ensure consistency and fairness for all clients and teacher I would like to outline our cancellation policy below:
- In the case of a prepaid lesson. If you cancel your lesson for a fair and reasonable reason with sufficient notice, we will provide you with a make-up lesson. This will be arranged at a time that suits both you and the swim teacher. This refers to lessons that have been prepaid.
- Cancellations due to illness will be accepted with reasonable notice.
- If the teacher is en route to your home for a scheduled lesson, you must pay for that lesson.
- If the teacher cannot teach due to illness or misadventure, we will call you as soon as we know there is a problem with rescheduling the class at a time that suits you.
Your phone call is appreciated. If you wish to cancel a lesson, please call 0422 265 221 or send a message to cancel.
