Swimming Lessons for Children

Private one-on-one swimming lessons can be beneficial to children to gain independence in the water. We may not all have the confidence, water skills or perhaps not had a good past experience within the water. Some children find participating in groups or with many other people around challenging.

Teaching water safety, moving in water and swimming is my passion, it is knowing what works for each individual that matters. Understanding that each child learns at their own pace, in their own time through having an understanding, caring, trusting teacher.

We specialize in working with fearful children in developing their comfort and confidence in the water.  We understand that the aquatic environment can be a scary place, so why not receive swimming lessons in the comfort of your child’s surroundings until they can join group lessons.

Every session is tailored to the individual needs of each swimmer. We are aware that each child develops physically and emotionally at different rates and will be ready for different skills at different times which is why we tailor the lesson to suit your child, no matter their ability. Lessons are adjusted to the condition and ability of the swimmer/child hence adapted to their daily functioning goals. We like to work with the family, find out what your aquatic needs and goals are for your child and grow from there. Maybe it is gaining confidence in and around the pool at home and beyond the home or learning basic strokes.

Offering you a tailored aquatic experience for you and your child.

Over the years I have taught using various methods to assist various children to move in water and swim ranging from; Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Autism, Spina Bifida and chronic conditions.

Try us, let us bring the joy back into enjoying the water.
