Inclusive and Private Children Swimming Lessons

Finding Their Splash Zone.

Every child is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, understanding and building trust before expecting progress.

Experienced, Patient. Child-Focused.

Our private, one-on-one lessons can be particularly helpful for children who:

  • Lack confidence or are nervous around water
  • Have a difficult or frightening experience in the water
  • Find busy environments or group lessons overwhelming
  • Need additional time to process instructions and develop new skills
  • Benefit from individual attention and a consistent learning approach

A tailored Approach for every child; knowing what works for each child matters.

If you’re looking for a trained and experienced swimming teacher who understands different learning needs and behaviours, we’d love the opportunity to work with you and your child.

We take the time to understand your child’s needs, personality, communication style and learning preferences. Lessons can then be adapted to create a calm, positive and trusting aquatic experience where your child feels safe to explore, learn and progress. Together, we’ll discover what makes your child feel comfortable, confident and successful in the water.

Because every swimmer deserves to find their splash zone.

Over the years, I have worked with children with a range of disabilities and neurodiverse needs, including Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Autism/ADHD and Down Syndrome, helping them develop movement, confidence and swimming skills in the water.

Try us; let us bring the joy back into enjoying the water.

Aqua Aerobic  OR  Movement-Exercise in Water

Move, Strengthen and Feel Good in the Water

The water is an amazing place to move.  Aquatic exercise is a low-impact activity that takes the pressure off the bones, joints and muscles. Water buoyancy reduces your body weight, which takes the pressure off your joints, especially your knees and hips. This makes it ideal for people with joint pain, arthritis or those recovering from injuries.

Our water-based sessions are designed to help you move with confidence, build strength, improve mobility and have fun along the way.

Sessions can be adapted to suit different fitness levels and abilities, using the water to assist with:

  • Strength and conditioning
  • Mobility and Flexibility
  • Balance and Coordination
  • General fitness and wellbeing
  • Lowers blood pressure and improves cardiovascular health
  • Improves mental health and builds confidence

For people living with musculoskeletal or neurological conditions, the water can provide a supportive environment to practise movement and exercise while reducing the load on the body.

Whether you’re looking to improve strength, move more freely, maintain your fitness or feel better in your body, we can work together to make your time in the water enjoyable and achievable.

Thank goodness learning to swim has improved over the years! For a preference in teachers, we have a male and female swim teacher. Check out fitsets.com to see our other adult aquatic programs.
